SVL Public Safety Department Mission Statement
The mission of the Spring Valley Lake Public Safety Department is to constantly strive to make Spring Valley Lake a secure and safe community. In pursuit of that mission we will work as closely as possible with all law enforcement agencies and other governmental bodies; we will enforce established rules, regulations, CC&Rs and all other governing documents of the Association; we will provide a highly visible proactive patrol; and we will perform other tasks as deemed necessary by the Board of Directors and the General Manager.

The Spring Valley Lake Public Safety Department's major responsibility is to observe and report incidents that occur within the community. We routinely perform the following functions: 1) Patrol all areas of the community and remain highly visible at all times to discourage acts that are in violation of Association rules or the law.
2) Check association ID cards on Association property.
3) Maintain good public relations to promote trust and mutual respect between community residents, the department and its officers.
4) Notify and assist the appropriate law enforcement agancy of violations or incidents that fall under that agency's responsibility.
Residents can help us perform more effectively, if you will: 1) Call us when you observe situations that create suspicion or are in violation of association rules and regulations.
2) Protect your own property by locking your homes, vehicles and keep garage doors and gates closed.
3) Keep your pets safely enclosed in your yard or home and make sure neighbors are not disturbed by barking or other annoying sounds.
4) Let us know when you plan to be away from your home for several days, so we can provide additional patrols at your residence.
