To reserve the beach or park areas, one must be an SVLA resident (or a tenant with membership priviliges). If one is not a homeowner, he or she can always have an SVLA resident sponsor the event. The resident must be present the entire time of the event and have an SVLA membership ID.

If the party has more guests than guest passes, then he or she can reserve the date through the association office. Please remember that SVLA's beach/parks are open to all SVLA property owners; therefore, we cannot guarantee exclusive access. It is a first come first serve basis.

If space is available, SVLA can reserve events 30 days prior to actual event. Property owner must complete the following:
- Signed rental agreements from property owner
- Provide a current insurance policy
- If over 50 people, must get SVLA departments approval
