SUMMARY:Community Event Team Meeting
DESCRIPTION:SVLA’s Community Event Team provides fun and healthy activities for our community for all age groups. We invite volunteers to become involved\, share ideas and make suggestions for programs which will encourage our community to stay active year-round. \nThis team regularly meets in the Spring and Summer to discuss events and ideas to present for the budget for the upcoming year. During the fall and winter they meet as needed. Team members are expected to help at a minimum of 3 events throughout the year. The busiest time for events is during the summer season\, however\, help is always needed at the Kids Halloween party and all Christmas events. \n\n\nSome of our annual events include:\n\nAdult Dinner Dances\nEaster Egg Hunt\nBreakfast with Santa\nSummer Concerts\nSummer Kick Off Concert\nAnnual Firework Show\nHoedown\nChildren’s Halloween Party\nChristmas Tree Lighting and Parade\n\nSome of our summer events include:\n\nIce Cream Socials\nMovie Nights\nWater Days\nAnnual Cornhole Tournament\nDIY Events\nPaint Night\nBINGO\n\n\n\nMeeting Date: First Tuesday of each Quarter (for the calendar year)\nTime: 5:00PM\nLocation: Community Center’s Meadowlark Hall
