Community Engagement Specialist
Pay range: $18.00- $24.00 Hourly
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY: The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for website maintenance and updates. Monitor social media for SVLA related content, regular social media updates and public communications. Responsible for daily posts to all applicable media outlets (Shared task with the administration staff). The Community Engagement Specialist develops an overall recreational program and events for the community based on resident driven interests to meet the SVLA’s mission and vision. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License - Driver’s license must be maintained and acceptable according to SVLA’s insurance standards.
Possession of, or the ability to obtain appropriate CPR and First Aid certificates
Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.
Basic graphic design skills
General knowledge of basic bookkeeping, accounting skills, budget development and control, including monitoring expenditures, managing projects /events, and preparing event / activities budget documents.
Must be available to work scheduled events, work overtime, and be available to work weekends and holidays.
Supervisor experience preferred- will oversee seasonal employees.
