Office and Lifestyle Specialist
Location: On-site, 13325 Spring Valley Pkwy., Victorville
Department: Administration | Reports To: Community Engagement Specialist
Pay: $20.00-22.50 | Job Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:
The Office & Lifestyle Specialist is a position responsible for routine office work and assisting the Community Engagement Specialist in community events and activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain summer activities geared toward the desires of the community.
- Plan family events / activities and create flyers for planned events.
- Assist the Community Engagement Specialist in researching, planning, decorating and hosting large-scale community events.
- Must be familiar with and adhere to assigned budget for planned events; must keep record of receipts and consistently update expense spreadsheet.
- Assist with other general administrative duties including answering phones, member payments, tenant accounts, vessel registration, slip rentals, and equestrian stalls.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree Required
- Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20lbs
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Canva Preferred
- Minimum one-year related experience, training, and/or education in event planning and marketing preferred
