Code Enforcement Officer
Location: On-site, 13325 Spring Valley Pkwy, Victorville
Department: Code Enforcement | Reports To: Director of Community Services
Pay Range: $21.00/Hour | Job Type: Full Time
Hours: Generally, 4 days a week, 7:30AM-6:00PM with 30-min lunch and occasional Saturdays
Responsible for monitoring and enforcing Association rules, regulations, and governing documents to help maintain community standards. Conducts property inspections, responds to resident concerns and complaints, documents violations, and communicates with property owners regarding compliance requirements. Maintains accurate records of enforcement activities and works professionally with residents to encourage voluntary compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responds to violations in accordance with the governing documents.
- Maintains accurate, complete records of complaints, inspections, violations and citations; prepares periodic written reports detailing code enforcement activity and results for presentation to the Citation Review Committee and Board of Directors.
- Daily patrols of the community to identify immediate code violations and follow ups.
- Take photographs and upload pictures to code enforcement database.
- Function as a Committee Liaison: prepare violation packets for the GM and Board of Directors, prepare and send Notices of Hearings to residents, write correspondence to members on committee determinations.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be aged 21 years or older with a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Ability to operate all Code Enforcement equipment including a watercraft vessel
- Ability to handle dissatisfied and/or quarrelsome residents
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs preferred
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task preferred
- At least 2-4 years of experience and/or training in Code Compliance or a relevant field preferred
General Maintenance & Landscaper
Location: On-site, 13325 Spring Valley Pkwy, Victorville
Department: Maintenance | Reports To: Director of Operations
Pay Range: $18.50/Hour | Job Type: Temporary
Hours: 5 days a week, 7AM-3:30PM with 30-min lunch
General Maintenance/Landscaper are responsible for the upkeep and appearance of outdoor areas, buildings, equipment, and all facilities. General Maintenance/Landscaper will Perform Maintenance at all facilities, including Mechanical, Electrical, Lake maintenance, Carpentry, Landscaping, Irrigation, Concrete work, Event set-up, Stablehand, and Architectural repair. This position will include custodial duties at all facilities and communities as required or scheduled. They will have experience planning and performing regular Maintenance on all facilities and grounds and will follow the work order system. Also, General Maintenance/Landscaping will perform any additional tasks not noted as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Removes trash and debris from all SVLA areas by regularly inspecting grounds, including pathways, drains, and v-ditches, and transporting the waste to designated central collection points daily.
- Performs and maintenance repairs or projects required at all Association property. Assure that jobs specified on maintenance requests and work orders are completed satisfactorily.
- Perform event set up and tear down inspection, providing a record of event furniture and equipment conditions and count. After event set-up, tear down, clean up as scheduled and required.
- Operate mowers, tractors, boats, and other equipment as trained and directed.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older and in possession of a valid CA driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in architecture, mechanical, electrical, facilities planning, landscaping, stables and general maintenance operations.
- Ability to work outside with seasonal exposure to cold and heat
- Ability to work rotating shifts, respond to on-call emergencies, work overtime, and be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary
EQ Stable Hand & Groundskeeper

Department: Maintenance | Reports To: Director of Operations
Pay Range: $19-21.00/Hour | Job Type: Full Time
Hours: 5 days a week, 7AM-4PM with an hour lunch
Maintenance groundskeepers are responsible for the upkeep and appearance of outdoor areas, buildings, equipment and all facilities. Performs regular maintenance at all facilities including mechanical, electrical and architectural as required and or scheduled. Perform custodial duties at all facilities and community as required and or scheduled.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Can perform equestrian barn duties such as mucking stalls, turning out horses, feeding/watering horses, sweeping the barn and other basic barn/cleaning duties and performed in a timely manner
- Removes all trash and debris from all Association areas by regularly inspecting grounds, including pathways, drains, v-ditches and transporting the trash to designated central collection points on a daily basis.
- Performs painting at all facilities and grounds as required, including proper preparation for the area, such as scraping, filling, patching, spraying and proper clean up.
- Ensures that grounds maintenance equipment and building maintenance equipment are operational by performing routine and preventative maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment and machines within reasonable capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have prior experience working with horses and can demonstrate safe horse handling techniques
- Knowledge of relevant OSHA standards
- Must be 21 years or older and in possession of a valid CA driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs with the ability to work on a ladder or mechanical lift at heights of over 12 feet
- Ability to work outside with seasonal exposure to cold and heat
- Ability to work rotating shifts, respond to on-call emergencies, work overtime, and be available to work weekends and holidays when necessary

Department: Public Safety | Reports To: Director of Public Safety
Pay: $19.80/Hour | Job Type: Seasonal (up to 29 hours per week)
Hours: The Public Safety Department is open 24/7, with rotating shifts between 8-10hours.
